Character poses and expressions for my graphic novel Fort Blanket.
C-3PO: Knowledge is a very important thing, Artoo. One day, I hope to speak fluently in over six million languages. To do that, I must conduct much research in the area of communication. Just look at all of these language books I’ve found!
R2-D2: Beep booooop beepity.
C-3PO: What do you mean, “Geometry isn’t a language”?
R2-D2: Boop boop bope beep.
C-3PO: Oh, why don’t you go play in the computer lab? Psh, you computer science majors…
(3/52) 52 Weeks of C-3PO and R2-D2, College Roommates
C-3PO: Greetings, R2-D2. I am your new roommate, C-3PO. I am sure we will get along splendidly. But first, a few things. One, don’t leave your things all over my side of the room. I can’t stand a messy living space. Two, I like only classical music, and three, you better not throw any late-night parties. My communications class starts at 8AM sharp tomorrow and I want to make sure I get a good night’s rest. Very well, then. I will leave you to unpack your things.
R2-D2: Beep boop beep.
C-3PO: Oh, and you don’t like noisy roommates? Not to worry, I can be as silent as a mouse droid. But I do understand your concern. Some droids just don’t know when to quit, do they? They’ll spend all day chatting your ear off. So very annoying.
